Together Again!

Horray! We are together again and finally at our permanent duty
station - its been 7+ months in the making!!! We decided to purchase a
house and are in the process of closing. Hopefully we will be in our
house just after Thanksgiving and all settled in by Christmas. How
blessed we are! Until then we are staying in a short-term apartment,
which makes us so antsy to get in our house and get our stuff thats
been in storage since April.
Garland is doing very well - he is starting his job tomorrow so we
will see how things go. James and I are also doing well. James is such
a wonderful happy baby and we feel so blessed to have him in our
lives. He is growing so big and is just starting to laugh, but the
only time he will is when we pull his arms out of his sleeves when we
change him. Its so funny! Ill attach a video - he didnt do it very
much in the video but its a little taste. He is also getting his first
tooth :) He has been so good through it - I've heard a lot of babies
get pretty fussy when their teeth are coming in but he has been just
wonderful, so far anyway.
We went to the library yesterday and discovered James' favorite thing:
reading! We picked up a few books with big pictures and we have been
reading to him. He gets totally quiet and is fascinated by the
pictures. It is a sight to see :)
Well, we are happy and healthy and cant wait for the journey ahead.

It's Official!!

James and I are gonna see Garland!! We leave friday night! I so cant wait to get there and see him!
Im gonna miss Utah alot. The beautiful landscapes, the great fast food & restaurants, the wonderful people, and most especially my friends and family. I dont know the next time I'll be back here in Utah which makes me sad, but I'm excited for the journey ahead.

P.S. We'll update our blog as soon as we get a place to live and settle in a bit :)

This is my life right now . . .

So Garland is gone, getting things squared away and house hunting. I am still back in Utah missing him and waiting. Always waiting. We really have no idea how long it will be till James and I will be able to join Garland :(
And on top of that, Im sick. It sucks big time! Sweet little James just wants to play and be held, while mommy just wants to sleep -
Im so glad to be around family and friends who have offered to help. Im gonna miss that more than they'll ever know.
So thats my life right now. Gotta love it!!

P.S. Sorry I havent had pictures for my last two posts. As most of you know, I dont have my computer. But as soon as I do ill upload some :)

So, its been a while . .

A whole lot has happened in the past few weeks, thus making it hard to update y'all. Garland has since graduated BOLC 3 (He also recieved the leadership award, as voted by his peers!). Since we didnt yet have orders we had to move back to Utah and wait for them (super frustrating!). We have recently recieved orders, however, and we are now trying to get everything set-up and ready to leave. This, however, has been very difficult because we dont have a base nearby and we have to do everything via Hill AFB. We have run into countless obstacles because of this but we are just about over them.
Baby James is doing awesome! He had his 2 month check up yesterday which meant he had to get his shots :( He was SO upset and we could not console him - it broke my heart. The good news is that he tips the scale at 13 pounds now! We are loving every minute of being with our sweet baby!
We should be leaving within the next few days to our new duty station. Oh, how I am going to miss Utah, my mountains, JCW's, Brick Oven, Del Taco, but most of all my friends and family.
