So here is what has happened since my last blog update:
Garland flew to Utah to see me and so we could drive to Missouri together. We spent the next couple of days visiting family!
We were also able to spend our 3rd Anniversary together!! We made a great breakfast together, picked up my niece Kyla and went to the Hogle Zoo!! It was military appreciation day so we got in for free! We had such a good time!

Gotta get a picture next to the classic lion!

Anniversary pictures :)

We started saying our goodbye's, first to Garland's mom and dad and sister Leah. Then to his brother Vince and his family. Then to my mom and Gordon and my sisters. To my surprise my wonderful grandma and grandpa Beus came and we were able to see them! What a blessing!
Then on the morning of the 3rd, Garland and I set off to our new apt. We had our car all packed up and headed out at 9am. It sure was hard to say goodbye to our friends and family, especially not knowing when we would see them next. The drive was much better than I thought. Garland and I told stories and played games and sang songs - anything to help pass the time. He is by far the best person to be stuck with in a car for 20+ hrs! We ended up driving straight through the night because we were so anxious to get to our new home. We arrived in at 6:30am. We were able to get a furnished apt so we quickly ran to the store to get some essentials (toilet paper, sheets, pillows, some food, etc) and then we came home and slept.
That night we sat out on our porch and watched fireworks. They were going off all around us!! It is so beautiful and warm here, and super green too.
I will be sure to post pictures of our new home soon. I love you all!!
